Paradiso tutors One to one tuition - We like to keep our guest groups small so usually have no more than ten painters each week. Which leaves plenty of time for individual tuition. DAVID CHANDLER 26 May - 9 June - Lunigiana 21 September - 5 October - Siena David is back with us for four weeks in total in 2012. After six years, he’s an integral part of the Paradiso team and it just wouldn’t be the same without him! We’re very happy to be moving to pastures new together, where David will be joining us in both venues. When not too busy running five weekly art classes during the winter in his home town of Frome, Somerset, David spends his summers teaching all over Europe with holidays in France, Marrakech & Italy. On top of all that he also gives private tuition, has a series of his own painting dvd's and his very own blog! Which promises to be a very interesting read. With his great personality and his relaxed teaching style our guests find him both encouraging and enjoyable and the conversation around the dinner table is never dull! Find out more about what David gets up to and have a peek at some of his work at: www.davidchandler.net HEIDI NGUYEN Heidi trained in Paris and then worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer for ten years before moving to Ireland in 1996 to concentrate on her painting. She has had numerous solo and group exhibitions and has established herself as a well respected artist throughout Ireland. Working predominantly in oils & acrylics herself but able to tackle anything, Heidi runs weekly painting/ drawing classes in her studio which are attended by all abilities, from beginners to practising artists. She is a very talented portrait artist & she always encourages our guests to have a go too, which is an exercise thoroughly enjoyed by all. She also runs her own gallery along with a collaboration of local artists in Donegal. Her students find her natural ability to teach very relaxed and encouraging and we're sure you will too! Dip.AH No stranger to Studio Paradiso, according to our visitors Ivan is wonderful - immensely flexible - able to inspire all ages, all abilities. He is a former high school art teacher who works closely with each student, developing the natural talent and particular aptitude that they already have. To quote Ivan: 'If you are prepared to make a mark on paper, that's a valid starting point'. Ivan is also a knowledgeable art historian.
