appreciate its historic beauty.
Local 'builders from heaven' restored vaulted ceilings, stone pillars,
and ancient terracotta tiles, and installed new kitchens, each with
a dishwasher, hob and oven. We have 5 bedrooms, 4 modern
bathrooom/shower-rooms, an efficient central heating system, and
two wood burning stoves.
There are scrubbed pine tables to eat at, big comfy settees to
snooze on, poolside loungers to laze on, a natural garden to dream
in and a crystal clear pool to cool off in.

In the sleepy old Lunigianan village of Caugliano in the region of
