Accommodation is in Casa Dell Unicorno - a beautiful 17th
century country villa set within with its very own secret
garden.

Casa Dell Unicorno lies in the hilltop village of Caugliano near the
pretty town of Fivizzano. The Villa boasts amazing views in all
directions with a dramatic backdrop of the Appenine Alps.
Built as a summer retreat, it is furnished with antiques which have
been in the family for generations and have been recently
restored. It has a grand hallway which runs like a gallery from the
entrance in the square to the beautiful, large shady garden,
orchard, vineyard and pool. From here you have the spectacular
views over unspoilt countryside to the distant mountains. Upstairs
the hallway, filled with wonderful pieces of furniture, leads to a
set of double doors which open out onto the beautiful outside
staircase into the garden.
The garden is so large that you can quite easily spend the day in
a secluded part painting alone or you may choose to be with
others.
It is overflowing with vine, olive and cypress tress as well as
cherry, apple and pear. The garden has a magical quality about it
and once you step in you will find it very hard to step out.
We also use its wonderful stock of fresh herbs in our cooking!
There are six large double/twin bedrooms, three en-suite and
three with a shared shower room/ toilet. The rooms are spacious,
well furnished and full of character, but no two are identical.
Each room has a beautiful view either overlooking the garden &
